For over 25 years Guidance for Academic Achievement (GFAA)

has been recognized as a quality Bay Area tutoring and mentoring service that has inspired hundreds of students to strengthen reading, writing, vocabulary, and study skills for higher grades and standardized test scores.

Our dedicated PSAT Critical Reading and Writing students scored within the range for 2007 National Merit recognition and potential scholarships. One student had a rare perfect PSAT score; another, a perfect SAT score.

Students thrive in these classes of only 3-6 students with one to one attention, powerful activities, frequent feedback, and an enthusiastic professional. Some students take one or two courses; others stay four years for mentoring, study efficiency, English enrichment, test preparation, and college essays.
